For over 60 years, the Rotary Club of Lyme Regis has organised this much-loved Christmas Carol Singing event in Broad Street, held each year just before Christmas. It has become a cherished tradition in the town’s festive calendar, bringing the community together to celebrate the season.

Each year up to 1,000 residents and visitors gather in the heart of Lyme Regis to sing a selection of popular and traditional carols. The music is provided by the Lyme Regis Town Band, whose wonderful accompaniment helps create a truly festive atmosphere along the street.

The evening is a wonderful opportunity for people of all ages to come together, enjoy the spirit of Christmas, and share in the warmth and community that make Lyme Regis so special. Donations collected during the event help support local charities and Rotary projects, ensuring the festive cheer also benefits those in need.
